A NOTE TO OUR READERS
Dear reader,
After nearly 10 years as a monthly print publication, the leadership team at The Outlook has made the decision to go year-round. As we make that shift, we think it's important for you to know what's ahead. We're building an Outlook you'll find online and in your inbox, with our print product taking on a fresh format. You'll hear from us more often, all year long. As we transition, we'll take a brief break from our current production schedule to give the digital launch and print refresh our full attention.
Local independent publishing is changing. We've been part of a shift toward local news that connects people with the communities they call home, and in the process we've built a foundation that will let us serve our communities for years to come.
We're proud of what this publication represents to local media, and we respect the potential it has for amplifying a voice often unheard in other news outlets: your voice. We're excited about where The Outlook is headed. Whatever the format, our commitment stays the same: honest local reporting, a genuine reflection of the community, and a steady connection to the people and places you care about. The stories that matter here will keep being told, and you'll have even more ways to be part of them.
